It is highly soluble in water, almost insoluble in ethanol, and its solution is acidic. Upon prolonged boiling, insoluble basic salt precipitates may form.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hydrated aluminum sulfate containing low-valence iron salts often has a light green color; low-valence iron salts are prone to oxidation, which can also cause the surface of hydrated aluminum sulfate to turn yellow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We provide high-quality iron-free hydrated aluminum sulfate products with a 17% Aluminum oxide (Al\u2082O\u2083).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">\u200b<strong>Main Application Fields<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Chemical industry and water treatment, including use as a flocculant and water purifying agent; in the paper industry as a sizing agent; and in building materials as an accelerating agent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For applications such as papermaking, it is recommended to use high-quality white iron-free aluminum sulfate. For municipal water treatment and similar fields, there are limits on the content of heavy metal ions in the product.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">\u200b<strong>Applications<\/strong>\u200b<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u200b<strong>In the paper industry:\u200b<\/strong>\u200b Used as a precipitant for rosin glue, wax emulsion, and other sizing agents to enhance the water resistance and anti-permeability of paper. It is also used in the flocculation treatment of papermaking wastewater to reduce COD and suspended solids.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>In the water treatment industry:\u200b<\/strong>\u200b Hydrated aluminum sulfate is a commonly used inorganic flocculant.
